Chocoloate Half Moon Cookies



Ingredients:
=========
  • 2 and 1/2 cups of fine flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 unsalted melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Heart of one vinilla bean ( or vinilla powder)
  • 100 gms dark chocolate
preparation:
=========
* Mix flour+ baking powder+ baking soda+ salt alltogether in a big bowl and set aside......


* Mix melted butter+ sugar +egg+vanilla alltogether in another bowl 

* Add the flour mixture to butter mixture gradually untill well combined as a ball.

* Adjust ( 350 F.) preheated oven racks in the top and the bottom....line two baking sheets with wax paper or parchment paper.

*shape cookies as 1/4 inch size ....cookies will be placed 1 inch apart on a baking sheet.

* Bake in the ( 350 F.) preheated oven until golden brown or (10-20 minutes), whichever occurs first.

*Melt chocolate but not to burn it!....brush half of each ready cookie with melted chocolate...Let chocolate firm up.

*Can be stored in airtight containers for 5 days in room temperature.

Beef Liver in a skillet

Beef Liver:
======
Calves' liver is generally preferable over Beef....It is really tenderer and sweeter in flavor...Maybe liver is not very common food for good number of people around the world, yet it has significant amount of protein, vitamins, and iron.
 It is highly recommended for those who suffer from anemia, those who are newly-injured, and those who are in convalescence (recovery period).

preparation:
========
1-cut liver while it is semi-frozen
2-cut into very thin slices
3- soak liver slices in a mix of white vinegar, salt, and garlic....
4- set aside for 30 minutes-1 hour
5- throw out released liquid.



Cooking:
======
1- heat a skillet with two tablespoons of canola oil (or any other cooking oil)
2- place few slices of liver on the heated skillet.
3- add slices of green, red, or yellow pepper meanwhile


4- cover with a lid for 7 minutes

5- remove the cooked slices using a fork into a big plate furnished with ground parsley.
6- repeat till the full amount is done.

Curry Whole Chicken

Curry whole chicken:
================
Curry powder is just a magic spice to chicken.....If you tried it out you will addict it , needless to speak about its medical benefits as it helps in controlling both blood sugar and cholesterol levels, moreover it is detoxificant and anti-cancer spice blend.

Ingredients:
==========
1- whole medium size chicken
2- three table spoons of curry powder
3- two tablespoons of white vinegar
4- two tablespoons of salt
5-pinch of black pepper
6- one tablespoon of olive oil (or any other cooking oil)


cooking:
=======
 Mix all ingredients in a bowl for "marinade" and with your full two hands rub the whole medium chicken thoroughly from the outside and from the inside ....put in an oven dish and bake it 
foil-covered in high-temperature heated oven (400 F- 205 C) for 45 minutes.....remove the foil and turn on the oven grill for extra two minutes....done!

Salmon In 20 Minutes

Salmon in 20 minutes

Fresh salmon is a key factor in healthy diet.....but how fresh is fresh?.....fresh salmon looks light pink from the inside and shiny silver grey from the outside.





Ingredients:
==========
  1. 300 gm of fresh, washed, rinsed salmon
  2. 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  3. 3 teaspoons of curry powder
  4. 1 teaspoon of salt
  5. 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  6. 4 teaspoons of white vinegar
cooking:
=======
toss all ingredients except for the fish in a bowl.....Mix them very well ....we will call it the "marinade".in a very tight oven dish (enough only for the fish size)...place the fish ....then with your full hands rub the fish thoroughly with the "marinade".

Put it in the oven on medium high heat, around
(205 C or 400 F)...uncovered for 20 minutes......done!

SHRIMP IN SKILLET

SHRIMP IN A SKILLET

It is an easy fast dish yet nutritious and hearty...it starts with choosing fresh shrimp as a first step.
ingredients:

  1. 500 grams of fresh shrimp
  2. pinch of salt and pepper 
  3. pinch of tandoori spice
  4. shopped fresh green coriander
  5. drop of olive oil
cooking:
Toss a drop of live oil in a non-stick skillet...Let to heat for two minutes then add the shrimp, salt, pepper, and tandoori...Stir it all in the skillet....for 5 minutes when shrimps turn into lovely orange color.
sprinkle fresh chopped coriander over the ready cooked shrimps....that is it! done!

Eggplant Pie

Ingredients:

1- 2 medium eggplants
2- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
3- 1/2 of a cup canola oil
4- vegetable Oil - tomato paste, 4 tomatoes, and 1 garlic clove
5- 1/4 of a cup chicken stock
6- tandoori spice
7-green or red bell pepper
8- 30 grams of mozzarella cheese

Cooking steps:

1- spread eggplant slices (cut lengthwise) with Kosher salt.

2- allow the eggplant juices to release.

3- brush eggplant slices with canola oil lightly

4- put eggplant slices on the grill until golden color (10 minutes) 


and lay grilled eggplant slices on the bottom of a oven-proof dish.

5- in a pot, heat two drops of vegetable oil, add tomato paste, half the tomatoes, and garlic and saute for 5 minutes.

6- add Chicken stock and tandoori spice and simmer for 20 minutes.

7-pour sauce over the eggplant in the oven-proof dish.

8-arrange green or red bell pepper and tomato circles on top of both eggplant slices and sauce.



and put the eggplant pie dish in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes.
9- you can sprinkle 30 grams of mozzarella cheese (optional) over the eggplant pie




10- serve with preferred rice.
